Hero Ranks
Tier | Rank | Description |
---|---|---|
S* | Rainbow | Any hero with a star (*) is a top tier hero recommended for using in a Rainbow Team. |
S | Best | An end game or top tier hero with great utility, powerful skills, and use in Player versus Environment (PvE) as well as the current meta (Player versus Player, or PvP). Heroes in this tier have a combination of the highest stats, excellent damage, good control, strong support, or significant defensive skills. In early to mid game these heroes can often carry battles on their own without any other heroes or support. |
A | Strong | A powerful hero that stands out against specific heroes or situations in PvE or the current meta. Heroes in this tier are often transitional heroes used in early-mid game or late game when facing off against certain heroes or teams. They usually need other heroes to provide synergy, support, or increase their stats. |
B | Average | A hero that doesn't have a significant impact in most battles. They are usable for early to mid game players however, for late or end game players this hero is a fodder or sacrifice to gain resources or upgrades. |
C | Weak | These heroes often have counter-intuitive skills, or have little to no effect in battles. Typically they have low stats, are outclassed by a hero in the same camp, used as fodder in fusions, or sacrificed for resources. |
D | Worst | A hero in this tier is 100% fodder. They likely have out dated skills, require too much resources before they are usable (and are still bad), or simply have very poor stats and abilities. It's best not to spend resources on these heroes, and either use them for fusions, upgrading better heroes, or sacrificing for resources. |

Hi Brendon, I just decided to leave a reply here to thank you for all the great information on the game you’ve provided on both the website and the videos. It is so hard to find a good guide or information on the game and your website and videos have really allowed me learn more and appreciate the game. Especially your YT videos have been super helpful as I was able to learn quite a bit about things that I couldn’t learn from just googling. And I really wouldn’t have been able to enjoy the game without the guides you’ve provided really. So I really wanted to thank you for the great contents and helps and saw that you seem to be more active here so I decided to leave a comment here 🙂
Oh and as I was writing this comment, I saw you recommend Saint with element or Dark so I was wondering what I should do about my team… Currently, I got Faerie Dragon, Paladin, Ice queen, Sage, Justice Angel, Panda, Phoenix, Death Envoy and Thor all 5 star level 100 at the moment (also got Fire leader and low level storm daughter both 6 stars). Originally I have been thinking of Human/element team but would it be better to switch human to another camp? I have not used any mysterious potion and fruits yet and planning to use them in the upcoming event so wanted to make sure I make the right choice before it is too late 😉 Thank you and hope you keep up the great work 😀
Hi Han, you’re welcome! I’m more active here than YT right now bc I think creating videos is more suitable than livestreams for ES content, but I haven’t had the time to figure out or do any video editing yet (so i’m on a hiatus for now). Thank you too for the nice comment, I’m glad you’ve found my videos and guides helpful! My goal is to start uploading videos on a weekly basis, so I’ll do my best to update content here and in the future for sure new videos will be appearing on my YT channel 🙂
I’d recommend holding onto Faerie Dragon, Fire Leader, Phoenix, Panda, and Sage for now. You can already create a decent Element / Saint team using Phoenix > Sage > Faerie Dragon > Panda > Sage > Thor. I’m working towards an Element / Saint team as well because it’s one of the best imo. To progress the most I’d recommend using your fruits for Element heroes. It sounds like you’re early in the game, but you’re going in the right direction to upgrade your team fast. Focus on upgrading Sage as high as possible (ideally your first 4-star leader), Phoenix is fine at 2-star leader, Panda change him to a Dog ideally (or another Sage), Faerie Dragon you’ll also want to 4-star leader later, and Thor is pretty much a placeholder until you get other Element heroes. Fire Leader isn’t bad, but I’d change him for a Leopard when you can and replace Thor with a Sandstormer (or Ancient Tree).
Ah I was wondering if there would be any more streams soon so that I won’t miss out the next ones and that’s so good to hear! Like the streams were super helpful in itself and since most had timestamps, it was easier to search for the topics i’m more interested in, but searching through hours long video to look back on small things that I wanted to check back on was a little tough at times too. So video sounds totally great for me and I will definitely look forward to that!
Thank you for the detailed team recommendations 🙂 Before I was really confused as to which team I should try build. Like I seemed to be getting better luck with saint teams but I came across some recommendations for humans teams online and then I wondered if it’d be better to go with dark team since I can more easily learn more about the team from your videos. With the team you recommend, I think I can now try do my first hero replacement event tomorrow without having to worry 😀
Again, thank you for the help and I hope to see you in your video sometime soon too 🙂
Hey Han, I’m planning to release shorter videos that provide detailed explanations than livestreams. I enjoyed streaming (still do and will be streaming again at a later time) and I’m glad you found they were helpful! Like you mentioned though, searching through some of the longer streams some content was repetitive and difficult to find even with Time Stamps. This is the main reason why I’m going to focus my time to make videos on specific topics, so everything can be found within a single video (or related videos).
No problem! 🙂 I started with Rainbow then shifted to Dark, but now I’m currently focusing on 3 Saints / 3 Darks then going to book and upgrade 3 Elements and building a Rare team as well. While slowly upgrading Thor (2-star Leader currently), and Asura (going to book 4 8-star copies to immediately 4-star leader later). I’m working on making 3 of the strongest heroes in each camp to use Split Aura’s/Camps to progress further in Supreme Battle because it allows more options than having a Pure Team. The reason I don’t really recommend Dark/Human is that you need most heroes to be heavily invested (4-star leaders with 6* red badge and gold statues) to have a powerful team. Whereas Saint or Element heroes have that same potential at around 2-4 star leaders with red/orange badges, and red/orange statues. So early to mid-game a Dark/Human team will be weaker than Element/Saint, but end game with proper badges, statues, and upgrades Dark/Human heroes can meet or exceed the power of Saint or Element heroes.
Wow sounds like your team has changed a bit from the last stream! Never expected that you’d got Thor 2 star now. Can’t wait for your next video to see how your team’s looking now 😛
Oh, so it wasn’t that human camp was bad but rather dark/human camps were better at later stage. I was kind of confused since there are so many different suggestions on the camps and we even had quite a few small arguments on which camps/ path better in my guild earlier too. In that case I guess I’ll try to save up the good heroes from Dark/human camps for future as well (although I gotta admit 2-4 star leaders much less 10 star heroes seem so far in the future for me yet) 🙂
As always thanks for all the help. I will definitely tell everyone to check your wiki out and videos too perhaps when the shorter videos are up later 🙂
I was the rainbow anon, your site is for some reason rejecting my other messages. Which dual/single tribe would you suggest switching to or does it not really matter? Right now I have Phoenix, Hawkeye, Night Sister, Barbarian, Hook, and Hydra and optimally I’d like to keep at least one
RAINBOW BEST CHOICE IS
TRUMP CARD IN DUNGEON
IMMORTAL ZOMBIE IN BARBARIAN
PHOENIX IN SAINT
JUSTICE ANGEL IN HUMAN
FAIRIE DRAGON IN ELEMENT
ICE CRYSTAL PHOENIX IN DARK
Hi pyraximus, there is spam filter that mistakenly flagged your messages, but they are now approved. I’d suggest keeping Phoenix and Hydra to start towards a Saint/Element team and also keep Hawkeye and Barbarian since they are still strong heroes that can be used to create a Rare team as well. The strongest Elemental heroes are Faerie Dragon, Sandstormer, Leopard, and Ancient Tree. For Saint it’s Great Dog, Great Sage, Phoenix, and Kylin. Changing at 8 stars is a good idea since you already have the fodder to upgrade them. I’d recommend using your Rainbow team for now until you have enough books and 5-star copies of heroes you want to book, so you don’t lose your aura and can immediately book from Rainbow team to Saint/Element. Otherwise if you don’t mind losing your aura book Hook into Leopard, and Daughter into Sage. Sage is basically an upgraded version of Night Daughter with Stun, and Leopard is good for damage (DPS) and Stun as well. Good luck!
Hello not sure if my other reply went through but I was the rainbow anon you responded to before. My comp was Hydra, Barbarian, Phoenix, Night Sister, Hook, and Hawk so clearly I have a lot of changing to do. If I was to switch to a single/dual comp as you suggest, what would be the best thing to switch to (as in most powerful while also hopefully keeping at least 1 of the units I have)
im not super new (team is 5 7s and 1 8) but I’ve essentially been ride or die rainbow since the beginning but looking at this am not sure I had been using the right dudes. there are a lot of S* on this list but what do you think is the actual best rainbow build? Thanks
Hi anon, I wouldn’t recommend building rainbow because the combat lab is very difficult to upgrade, and it will be much more difficult to upgrade heroes since you’ll have to spend fruits on all camps rather focusing on 1-2. Most players who started with Rainbow including myself have already changed to Pure/Split Camps, or are working on transitioning, but if you still want to build a rainbow team I’d recommend using: Immortal Zombie > Justice Angel > Great Sage > Ice Crystal Phoenix > Ancient Tree > Trump Card Pilot. Those are the top heroes in each camp that can get very far in Supreme Battle. Good luck!
Hey same anon as before. I had been using Phoenix, Barbarian, Night Daughter, Hydra, Captain Hook, and Hawkeye. Clearly I have a lot of switching to do! You said that a lot of people translate their team into a pure/split comp. Given what I have, which do you think would be the best one to transition to ie the one with the least resources? I’d essentially just be grinding books to direct translate them as pretty much all my resources are tied into these 6 guys. I’m about halfway to level 8 with all my 7s so my plan is to bump them to 8 and then translate them each to what I need (because I already have their respective gems so it doesnt make sense to translate until after)
which pure/split is best? i’m leaning towards saint/something
Hi anon, it depends on the heroes you already have built. I’d recommend either Saint/Element or Saint/Dark. Saint/Element you could do Phoenix/Ancient Tree, Great Sage, Great Dog/Sage (2), Faerie Dragon, Leopard, Sandstormer (Kylin is also another good choice to pair with any of the Priests for Reduce Hurt and Extra Healing). For Saint/Dark you could do Phoenix/Dark Emperor/Abyss Lord, Ice Crystal Phoenix, Vast Sea Spirit (1-2), Great Sage, Great Dog/Sage (2), Kylin (Could be replaced with another DPS if needed).
Hi Brendon, thank you for a great website. I just have a question. Currently, I am working on a saint team but I’m weak. Could you tell me the best lineup? Thanks!
Hi Ivanon, no problem! For a saint team I’d recommend using Phoenix to tank (at least 2-star leader for damage reflection), Kylin to boost healing and damage (for Sage & Dog), and 2 Great Sage and 2 Great Dogs for Damage (DPS). First aim at upgrading 1 Great Sage to 4-Star Leader first for high damage and stun, then next aim to upgrade 1 Great Dog to 4-Star Leader for the huge benefit against Mages/Priests, stun, and damage. The order after that isn’t too important, but I’d try to make 2 Great Dogs first rather than Great Sage. While upgrading them also work on upgrading both Phoenix and Kylin to leaders. Good luck!
Greatz! thanks
Greatz! thanks
hi im not very good at the game. been playing since 2017 but have stopped and started playing a couple times. can you tell me what synergy is?
hey none, no worries. Synergy is basically when 1 or more heroes have similar skills, effects, etc. that work well together.
For example HeroA that has a 30% chance to Stun all enemies has good synergy with HeroB that has 25% chance to Stun all enemies because they can both Stun the enemy. Another example is if HeroC gives 10% Freeze immunity (all enemies have +10% chance higher to get frozen) then it has good synergy with HeroD and HeroE with a skill that has a 50% chance to Freeze 1 or 3 enemies. So HeroC, HeroD, and HeroE have good synergy because they all provide an increase to buff or cause Freeze. These are just a few examples, but there are many other combinations of heroes and skills, effects, etc. with different synergies like Reduce Hurt, Bleed, Extra Healing, etc.
Hopefully that explanation makes sense. If you have any other questions feel free to ask!
I think Death Envoy needs to be dropped down. He is not being used by any of the top players. Too squishy and misses too much. Vast Sea Spirit has replaced him on the few Dark teams still around
Hi aplayer, I will be re-evaluating and updating the entire Tier List in April or by early May.
For sure Death Envoy’s rank will be dropped, and others as well over the coming weeks.
put petrification statue on her, and she becomes better that Captain Hook.
I didn’t realize she was a leader, and that’s a good point as well.
I’ll increase her to Tier A this weekend and update both the Tier List and Visual Tier list with the new Panda hero, stats, new leaders, and an updated design with the latest changes.
Storm Daughter can’t be tier B
Tier B means the hero is about average. She’s mainly in that tier because she doesn’t carry the battle as much as other heroes above her tier.
Although her skill damage % is high it’s very inconsistent because it’s spread out over 10 hits. Also she doesn’t have much else (no control abilities or other unique skills) other than damage.
The fact of her attack is divided in 10 hits is amazing cause it raises the chances of carry synergies from statue or astrolabe. It also makes her never fails on ordinary attacks (always filling the fury bar)
Without counting that if she is against few heroes all those 10 hits will fall over these few enemies which means really high and concentrate damage. If enemy is single all those 10 hits go for the single hero, which means possible 750% dmg over 1 single target.
Same goes for Night Fury.
I understand, those are fair points though it doesn’t make her significantly better.
10 hits still have a chance to miss, and at the beginning of battle it’s always spread out over 1-6 opponents. In certain situations like you mentioned she’s a great DPS, but overall she lacks utility.
Even Night Fury has some crowd control that gives him greater utility which why he is Tier A.
put petrification statue on her, and she becomes better that Captain Hook.
Thank You Brendan90 for such amazing, detailed, in-depth analysis of Epic Summoner you have helped my team grow strong, I crush every event thanks to you bud!
You’re very welcome, that’s exactly what it’s for. Keep on crushing the events and growing your team to wipe out all those tough opponents. Cheers! 🙂
Hey, this tier list is based on some noob’s opinion.
Fire Leader is great for a boss killing team (shadow boss or Friend boss). Burn does damage based on enemy health percentage, so it doesn’t even need to be leveled for most opponents (watch for enemies that attack lowest hp heroes of course)
Bloodseeker steals 100 fury?
Also when an enemy is killed, his HP increases, not his attack. If he kills the enemy personally, his HP increases, not his attack.
Yes his first skill steals 100 fury from an enemy. Thanks, I just fixed it and updated the Tier List.
the panda is a warrior class not priest
thanks, i just fixed it. if you find any other errors please let me know.
