Halloween Bash 2018

Halloween Bash was a special exchange event available for 2 weeks and 3 days beginning on Oct. 19 to Nov. 5, 2018. Special exchange items can be received after completing several actions. All rewards can still be exchanged for 3 days before the event ends, but holiday items won’t be dropped.

NOTE: The Halloween Bash Exchange ended on November 4, 2018 at 8pm EST.

Special exchange items can be received after completing any of the actions listed below, and the amount of rewards varies. The rarity of exchange items goes in the following order from most common to the rarest.

During the event period there are several ways to obtain exchange items:

1. Shadow Tower: After clearing any of the 6 Shadow Tower stages.
2. Heroic Summons: When summoning any hero using a Gold Key.
3. World Fruit: Spending a fruit on any of the 6 available camps.
4. Wishes: Consuming a wish crystal at the wishing pond.
5. Adv. Wishes: Using a fiery wish crystal at the advanced wish pond.

• Exchange Items: (1) Pumpkin Head > (2) Toffee > (3) Magic Hat > (4) Little Ghost

Daily Login Rewards

Players can obtain 1 of the 7 rewards each day by tapping on the Pumpkin icon on the right of the screen then tapping the daily reward. Day 5 and 6 reward chests contain 1 guaranteed item including 1-2 random draws of the 4 possible special holiday items.

Halloween Bash Exchanges

Several exchanges can be made using the special holiday items. Each exchange offers valuable rewards that require a specific amount of items. To preview the available rewards players can tap on the Holiday Rewards then tap on the eye icon in the top right (or view the images below).

Best Tips for the Halloween Bash

To get the most value out of the event it’s best to save special exchange items until they are no longer being dropped from tasks. Since the drop rate of little ghosts is so rare it’s better to wait until the last day of the event to make a final decision on what to exchange.

Regular wishes are okay to use since the rewards from using 600 aren’t that great, however Heroic Summons and Fiery Wish Crystals should be saved for their respective Events. No amount of exchange items are worth the full value of Tier 4-6 rewards from a regular events. World Fruits and Heroic Summons are an exception since both events have been available, but it’s not worth spending any unless 170+ fruits or 500 keys have been saved to obtain everything up to Tier 6 rewards.

The top rewards include 100 Orange Artifact Fragments, 50 Hawk Eye Shards, and the Troubled Ghosts. The other pumpkin exchange items have less of a selection and amount of rewards. Also 1 little ghost can be exchanged for 10 pumpkins, which may be necessary since pumpkin heads are in high demand for exchanging any of the Halloween Bash rewards.

100 artifact fragments is essentially 9 obsidian stones which have a value of 27000 gems (3000 gems each at the Mystery Shop). Though it seems to be a decent exchange the major issue is that it’s totally random. Not all orange artifacts are equally useful, and with such a high cost it’s not worth the risk.

Hawk Eye is another option of what could be considered a good exchange, however he’s not really that exclusive. He can be obtained through other methods, and he’s already included as one of the prizes from the Troubled Ghosts. As a result that makes buying him at full cost a mediocre exchange.

Overall the best exchange for all items is Troubled Ghosts because they’re significantly cheaper, and offer a wide variety as well as a large amount of rewards. Exchanging 19 little ghosts for 19 Troubled Ghosts is definitely far more useful, and likely more valuable than 1 artifact or 4 copies of a hero.
